From the moment I saw one...I knew I wanted one. In the meantime, I also understood that I actually want to build one. Let's see how this will go.
I decided to start with a delta printer. I saw in several forums advice that you should really start with a Cartesian one for your first build...but I like to do stuff the hard way.
